Okay ladies... (and gentlemen? probably not but whatever)
My summer internship is coming to a close AND the lady I babysit for won't be needing me after July so I need a job! I usually can go without one but we are trying to keep our heads above water. William will be getting a promotion in December but I don't want to wait that long to get extra money.
So, this is where you all come in. I need resume tips. Anything will do. I've never really written a grown up resume. Also, I'm going to hit the town and hit every pharmacy (or anything that looks interesting) and somehow I want to weasel my way into talking to the management or pharmacist. How do I get their attention? I don't just want to drop my resume. I want them to remember me.
And if you are in the OKC Metro and know of something cool, LET ME KNOW!
Much thanks!

I do a lot of hiring for my store, and a couple of things that make me less inclined to take an applicant seriously are (and they may seem logical)... typos on a resume, a resume that's overly formatted (too many colours, on fancy paper, etc), and someone who pesters me by calling repeatedly. I'm sure you know this, but when you get to an interview, make sure you give examples of how you've handled situations in the past. Avoid hypotheticals.
Good luck!
God, resume tips. Um, don't use Times New Roman font. I'm so tired of that font. Verdana is an OK choice.
