Lily

Just some updated pictures of Lily. My long lost sister sent Lily the shoes for Christmas. These pics were taken for the Valentine's card I sent out.

Looks like Lily might be getting a brother... not really by choice though. My brother bought a $500 chug puppy but him and his gf work fulltime+ and carry the weirdest schedule. They both work overnight, John usually works 5-6 nights and she works 3-4 (12s) so they can't care for a puppy. They were going to give him away (possibly shelter) and I couldn't let that happen. I'm driving to Tulsa tomorrow to get him. I'll either keep him or find him a better home. (Probably the better home, but I'll be sooooo careful to pick where he goes.)

At Katie's request: Lily

Although Katie has seen most of these via twitter, her technical request was to see them on my blog. So here are some new shots of Lily. I tend to snap the cutest ones on my phone but they never turn out as well. This week my goal is to get some in her clothes with my actual camera!

Show and Tell - Lily's First Bath

As you can guess, this week's Show and Tell is Lily related. Saturday she had her first bath! Like any new "mom", I made sure to get lots of pictures! Check out what the rest of the class is showing at Mel's Show and Tell!

Show and Tell - Lily

As some of you may know, our family expanded one week ago today when we purchased our "baby", Lily. She has really had a great week. She has settled in and had many visitors in welcome her to the world. My friend Angie and her hubby-to-be, Masa stopped by and brought a blanket and a collar for Lily. My mom drove down today for Easter and to meet Lily. She wasn't sure if she would make it so she mailed our easter presents before she came. (See below.)

The dress on the left is from my mom and the one on the right is an impulse buy that I got in trouble for :) She's still too small for these but I can't wait for her to wear them. We've been "practicing" clothes so she wouldn't be shocked by them when it comes time.

Here is Lily in her travel bag. Apparently, it's a must have for these little dogs so they properly socialized... I didn't make it up, I swear!

This is the blankie and collar. I had to wrap it up all pretty again like it was when she gave it to Lily.
